Careers

Small teams, senior work, real ownership

Beambyte is deliberately small. That means the person who designs a system is usually the person who builds it, deploys it and talks to the client about it — and it means we hire slowly and carefully.

Current vacancies

No advertised vacancies right now

We hire against project pipeline rather than on a fixed schedule, so roles open at short notice. If you are strong in AI engineering, full-stack TypeScript, Python, cloud infrastructure or product design, send an open application — we keep them, and we read them.

What we look for

Beyond the technology list

Curiosity about the domain

The best engineers we have worked with ask why the business does something the way it does before proposing a system that changes it. Domain interest is not optional here.

Comfort with ambiguity

Client problems arrive under-specified. We look for people who can turn a vague complaint into a testable statement rather than waiting for a complete brief.

Writing ability

We work written-first across time zones. Being able to explain a technical decision in a paragraph a client understands is as valuable here as the decision itself.

Judgement about tools

We use modern technology when it earns its place. Enthusiasm for the newest framework is fine; insisting on it for a project that does not need it is not.

Hiring process

What applying involves

  1. 01

    Application

Send your CV and something you have built or written. A repository, a technical post or a project description all work — we care about seeing your thinking.

  2. 02

    Introductory call

Thirty minutes with an engineer, not a recruiter. What you have worked on, what you want to work on, and honest answers about what this job is like.

  3. 03

    Technical conversation

Ninety minutes working through a realistic problem together. No whiteboard algorithms and no take-home that eats your weekend.

  4. 04

    Team and offer

A conversation with people you would work alongside, then a written offer with the compensation range you were told at the start.

What you get

  • Work on systems that go into production, not proofs of concept
  • Direct client contact from early in your time here
  • Budget and time for learning, including AI tooling and certifications
  • Flexible hours around a core overlap window
  • Hybrid working from our Ahmedabad office
  • Compensation reviewed annually against the market

We state a compensation range at the first call and do not move it downward later in the process.
